Bath tub Maintenance
Bathtubs are a common feature in every home. Maintaining it is a bit difficult one rather buying. Here are the ways that suggest you to maintain a clean and hygienic bathtub.
The bathtubs come in attractive colors. The regular use makes it dull and shine less. Pick up the things that are kept in the bath tub and replace it before cleaning. This helps for better cleaning.
To maintain the color of the bathtub the use of definite cleaning solution or detergent is recommended. Spray them on the bathtub and wait for half an hour or above according to the dullness and scum of the bathtub.
Use a mob to clean the bathtub. You can also use big square sponges. Rinse thoroughly and bend over the bathtub doing it in the old fashioned way. Stick it under the faucet and squeeze it several times until it is clean. Check for stubborn areas and wash systematically. Add abrasive type cleaner when your bathtub is still not cleaned.
The next step involves cleaning of bath tub with degreasing detergent to the bath water. This helps keep the “ring around the tub” from forming dirt. Rinse tub with clean water to remove soap and avoid streaking.
Wiping the wet surfaces using a squeegee on flat surfaces and a towel on the rest of the tub is recommended. Water stains, soap scum, and oily grime buildup are now removed. Using a liquid shower gel eliminates the stubborn, greasy soap scum. Clean the shower scum in the same way.
Give your bath tub a good cleaning after use and treat with a sanitizer at least once a month. Regular bathtub maintenance should minimize problems with soap scum and mineral deposits. Keep your bath tub clean and enjoy the healthy life style.
